forecast() and timeleft() already exist as prediction functions. It would be useful if predictions could also be calculated on the basis of trend values. This would have enormous potential for less DB traffic and would be better for long-term forecasts.

Ideally with the additional parameters as in baselinewma() and baselinedev(): season unit and num seasons. Then it would also be possible to identify certain seasonal patterns.
