Currently, when a trigger used in an action is deleted from the underlying template, the action is automatically disabled without sufficient notification. This can lead to confusion and unintended consequences. Proposed improvements include:
- Displaying a message that the trigger cannot be deleted because it is used in an action.
- Allowing the trigger to be removed from the action without disabling the action, especially in AND/OR conditions.
- Clarifying in the audit log that the action was disabled by the system due to the user’s deletion of the trigger.
- Providing a warning when an action is disabled due to the removal of a trigger item.
These enhancements will help prevent accidental action disabling and improve user awareness and control.
