OpenBSD in the 6.4 release cycle introduced a new "scheduler state" CP_SPIN, which split out the CPU time spent spinning on a lock out of the total system time.

This is generally useful to differentiate time spent in the kernel doing useful things vs waiting on locks, which helps detect lock contention.

They've been carrying patches for this in ports for 6 years[1].

Even thought ports is still using Zabbix 6.4, I propose merging their patch for 7.2, with attribution to jasper@, who appears to be the original author. This will make Zabbix better out of the box, drop the need for the patch in OpenBSD ports, and we'll live in a better world because of it.

      Thoughts?
