Hello, I'm experimenting with a GSM modem, works well (media type SMS). However, a simple trigger results in 3 text messages, since there's quite some characters in the text message (here in The Netherlands there is a 160 character limit to a text message). Instead of relying on self-made scripts, it would be nice if Zabbix offered the possibility to truncate the messages, in the configuration of the media types:

For example a "Truncate messages to:" radio button, that when selected, shows another field in which you can select a maximum number of characters.
Enabling this would resolve ZBX-3133 as well I think
