Let's assume that we have a customer A and B with separate sets of servers which have own groups.
Today how it works is that we would first need to create a User Group which has access to servers of customer A, then another User Group which has access to servers of Customer B.
(actually it is not clear to me if the user needs access to the servers to receive notifications? because manual says "
- Zabbix server will not send notifications to users defined as action operation recipients if access to the concerned host is explicitly "denied".
but if it is not "explicity" denied but user does not have access to the server? hmm...)
Anyway, then, we would need to create users, these users would have the `Send to` field in media settings set to wherever we want notifications to go to. For example slack channels: #customerA and #customerB
This is because the Trigger Actions only allow sending messages to Users or User Groups.
I believe the Trigger Actions can be improved to become user/group agnostic. If it was possible to have a "Send To" field in Trigger Actions, the alerts could be sent to anywhere without requiring users and groups.
In Conditions tab, it is possible to select a Host or Host Group already. So we could easily make rules per Host Group to send alerts belonging to such group to a specific email address, slack channel or other target.
