• mode()
• trendmode()
• mode_foreach()

Use case: Optical Distribution Network status:

• 0: offline
• 1: online
• 2: dying gasp (energy fault)
• 3: fiber off
• 4: olher

Using a mode function, the most often status can be be shown to a trigger.
