We have multiple environments and for each, we use slightly altered variant of one template. When we need to make simple change on one item/trigger (lets say alter some description and severity, or item key), we need to go thru every variant of the template to alter it by hand. Which may be tedious.
It would be much easier to just alter it on one template and copy it to others. But we cant do that, since same items are already there.

So my suggestion is if there could be "force" copy - which would simply overwrite said item/trigger on receiving template.
