Lately it seems popular to use scheduled intervals for items, where it is (as far as I can tell) absolutely useless.

update interval could've been 1h, instead of the current config.

So, either i am missing something obvious, or the implementation is strange.

Request: revert to normal update intervals (and possibly check other templates as well?)
