 Description   

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download Windows 64 bit v2 agent for 6.0 LTS
  2. Install v2 agent on windows 64 and configure PSK during install

Result:

Zabbix agent does not start successfully and logs "cannot use encryption configuration: invalid TLSPSKFile configuration parameter: open C:\Program Files\Zabbix Agent 2\psk.key: The system cannot find the file specified."

Expected:

Zabbix agent would start successfully after installation.

Notes:

I moved the PSK steps in the MSI earlier in the installation and the agent service starts as expected (see screenshot)

But for Agent 2 the issue exists:

2023/03/08 10:53:43.789072 Starting Zabbix Agent 2 (6.0.13)
2023/03/08 10:53:44.300763 cannot use encryption configuration: invalid TLSPSKFile configuration parameter: open C:\Program Files\Zabbix Agent 2\psk.key: The system cannot find the file specified.

And after restart Agent 2 works, since key is in place.

The issue has been fixed and will be available in all future MSI builds of all Agents.

It's not mentioned in the Release Notes of 6.4.3. Is it fixed in this version?

Hi whupper,

It is fixed in Zabbix packages 5.0.34 and newer, 6.0.17 and newer, 6.4.2 and newer. 

We have updated Release notes and mentioned this change.
