Please specify the version of Zabbix you are using. Do all components (zabbix_server, zabbix_proxy, frontend) have the same version? |

Our Zabbix version is 7.0.8. All components have the same version. We just upgrade to version 7.0.9 and the issue still persist. Not the Zabbix API but some external tool, but it doesn't matter what HTTP endpoint you send a request to. The same issue occurs when sending request to www.google.com |

This error occurs when the frontend does not receive a response from the Zabbix server. Increase the debug level for the "trapper" process using a runtime command and check the server log file for any errors. zabbix_server -R log_level_increase=trapper |

I increased the log level on the server. There are no errors found after executing the test. |

What value do you have set for the "Item test" parameter on the Administration → General → Timeouts page? Try increasing it if it is too low. |

It looks like your issue is a duplicate of ZBX-25796. |

The timeout solved the issue! Thanks for the help, this issue can be closed |
