don't get your hopes too high, but ZBXNEXT-2031 might pave the way for this feature.
if somebody had a patch for this, it would likely break, though

It would be neat if one could define items on maps such that mousing over that item would show, for instance, a graph. One possible application would be a on network map - mousing over links between items could display the traffic on that link. |
