Description |
Currently, we have item vfs.fs.discovery[], whose results we can use in items like vfs.fs.size[]. It would be nice to have an item like vfs.dev.discovery[], so that we can automatically create items like vfs.dev.read[] and vfs.dev.write[]. |

Attached is a try at a simple UserParameter, which uses the output of lsblk. |

note that example userparam file contains different attempts for linux & solaris (linux one grabs everything from /proc/partitions, thus items would be created both on disk and also on partition level) |

Re-attaching the vfs-dev-discovery.pl patch with additional option -r to lsblk to output raw data. |
