Description |
When creating template graphs it would really helpful to be able to use macros like HOST.HOST or HOSTNAME to add name of the host to graph name for reference. Right now only workaround i found is by using {{HOSTNAME}:sysName.last(0)} which adds values that I Zabbix gets over SNMP from device which is not enough in my case because I would like to display hostname that I configured on device when adding it to Zabbix. |

Take a look to changes for 2.4 done in I guess we may close this issue as duplicate of |

btw, strange that you ask for the macro support as you talk about graphs inherited from a template. In such a case it's supposed to have items on a graph from a single host and in this case the graph should contain hostname as prefix of the graph name, even after 2.4. I'm still closing this issue. |

Well, I am guessing I did not explain it right way. |

If you would call this feature request as "Support HOST.* macros in graph names" - that would be absolutely clear. But if take into account Maybe it could be supported as it was previously working before 2.4 - expand macros from a host of first added (or first manually sorted?) item on the graph. |

It's probably duplicate of ZBXNEXT-1967 for sure. Closing, again |
