Description |
Would be good to be able to use Value Mappings, which work well in latest Data, in Graphs. |

where exactly would you like to see the mapping being used ? |

Hi, Rich See screencap, pls. Each item returns an integer value corresponding to a particular state. It would be cool to see the"last" column, for instance, shown as: On ## 4 possible states, incl 2 error states so the tech don't have to refer back to the Item comments to find out what the integer states actually mean. Of course, this would be useful as well for things like inteface status, etc - anywhere value mapping is useful. |

Value map 'lastvalue' could be at item legend, also if it is possible on graphs y-axis next to numeric value. |

Just for future reference, I have a very crude patch that adds value maps to the Y Axis. It gets its map from the first valuemaped item, only tested on one axis. the patch was created agains 1.8.5, and still applies to later 1.8.x |

seems like a dupe of ZBXNEXT-123 then, let's handle it there |
