Description |
Hello, it would be very nice if you can add/create a Debian 9 (Stretch) Repo. The Jessie Repo don't work with Strech because of unmet dependencies, for example: |

Can we please raise the priority on this issue? |
Comment by Danik [ 2017 Jul 01 ] |
the same problem want to install zabbix server on Debian 9 tanks |

I'm awaiting the packages as well. As a temp workaround you can install `libssl1.0.0` from jessie to stretch to fulfill the dependencies of zabbix package (jessie build). It will not collide with other ssl versions in the system. |

It seems like the current zabbix package for jessie can be rebuilded just fine for stretch by replacing the current build dependencies of libmysqlclient-dev by default-libmysqlclient-dev |

Hi, |

I agree, a Stretch repo is needed. This is the only thing stopping me from deploying Zabbix for my office network. |
Comment by Ted Serreyn [ 2017 Jul 20 ] |
been uprading debian systems as it has been more than 30 days since release. This is high on my priority list. I have it working, but it would be nice to have official packages. |

I also need a Stretch Zabbix repo... |
Comment by Thomas Kühling [ 2017 Jul 25 ] |
Dear Zabbix-Team, can you please have a look on this issue? Thie priority is from my point of view not trivial anymore. Debian stretch is in the meantime over one month old and debian just released a new version 9.1. For me i can't upgrade my server-systems, until there is a zabbix-repo for debian stretch available. Please have a look on this issue and raise the priority. |

We just started to work on this issue. Debian 9 packages are on the way. Please give us some time on setting it up + testing. |

looks like the link provided is not working.. |
Comment by Marco Hofmann [ 2017 Aug 02 ] |
I would bet that this is an internal Link for the Zabbix Team. |

It seems like Stretch has been released for 3.4 only : http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/3.4/debian/pool/main/z/zabbix-release/ |

3.0.10 and 3.2.7 packages available for Debian 9 (stretch). Please confirm. |
Comment by Danik [ 2017 Aug 31 ] |

Upgrading using the stretch repo worked for me. |
Comment by Eric OC [ 2017 Sep 02 ] |
I'm having trouble going from `3.2.7-1+jessie` to `3.2.7-1+stretch` and getting this library error whenever I try to run zabbix_server after the package upgrade: zabbix_server: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libmariadbclient.so.18: version `libmariadbclient_18' not found (required by zabbix_server) I think it's probably because I also have these two MariaDB debian repositories: deb http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/mariadb/repo/10.3/debian stretch main deb-src http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/mariadb/repo/10.3/debian stretch main |

I think in this case you need to re-compile the package on your host. |
Comment by dimir [ 2017 Sep 06 ] |
Debian 9 packages were added, I'm closing this issue. |
