I love this one, don't get me wrong! I noticed yesterday, if you create a multipage dashboard you get the option 'stop slideshow'. So i press it and the slideshow stops. Main reason to stop the slideshow is that my page 1 on the dashboard (or whichever page) is displaying the data i am working with right now. I need to check something at the latest data, so navigate away to monitoring -> latest data, and return to the dashboard. At that moment, the slideshow seems to be started immediately again. I don't notice it, and start looking at my data... and in 30 seconds or something.... bam other page and confusion kicks in. After 2 or 3 times, you get used to it and click on 'stop slideshow' the moment you navigate back to the dashboard but it's kinda weird. I think to make this one complete it makes sense to remember the last state of that 'start/stop slideshow' button. |

Hi, brian.baekel! Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts. Have you noticed that you can configure auto-starting of the slideshow for each individual dashboard in it's properties? It's enabled by default, but you can turn it off when not needed. I must agree that automatic switching of pages while slideshow is on may sometimes come as a surprise, therefore some visual hints just before the page switching would be informative and helpful. However, please note that the slideshow is paused for at least 5 seconds whether the user interaction is detected. |

Hi @Andrejs, Thanks for your fast response! No i did not notice that small button 'start slideshow automatically' in the dashboard properties. Unchecking it solves by far most of my concerns and makes this a working solution. Still i prefer the remember state since i know one thing for sure: at some point in time one forgets to click 'start slideshow' when navigating back from a different page and wondering why the thing is not working

+1 for remembering if it's started or stopped per user |
