We have sometimes the following issue here. We have 10 items that depends in a linear order from 1 to 10. Unfortunately it can happens that two of these items will go into Problem state shortly after each other.

In the case that Item 3 goes in Problem state and depends on Item 2 that will go in Problem state shortly after Item 3 than we will not see Item 3 in the Trigger Overview or on the Dashboard. Unfortunately the notification still will be sent out as we cannot ACK the item there as it is hided. The dependency will no longer checked as the alert is already in notification mode and there we have only the check if it is acked or not.

Can this be improved to suspend notification if the trigger depends on another trigger that is in problem state?
