I am attempting to import a Zabbix template file originally created in Zabbix 4.2 into a Zabbix 7.0 instance. However, upon import, an error message is triggered, and the import fails. Despite multiple attempts and troubleshooting, I have been unable to identify the root cause of the issue.

• Source Zabbix Version: 4.2

• Target Zabbix Version: 7.0

• File Type: XML

• File Content: Zabbix template (items, triggers, applications, etc.)

🛠️ Issue Description:

When importing the file into Zabbix 7.0 via the "Configuration > Templates > Import" interface, the following behavior occurs:

• • The system attempts to parse the file

• • An error dialog or message is shown

• • The import process is aborted

Attempts to edit the XML manually or re-export from 4.2 have not resolved the issue.
