SNMP/agent stops getting values

      Zabbix Server: CentOS 5.5 x86_64
      DB: MySQL 5.1.48 on Fedora9 i386

      After some days of normal working, SNMP stops gathering values from random hosts.
      Today it happened also for a zabbix_agent "status" item.
      Querying the SNMP hosts directly usually gets the value, and I can find some "time outs" in zabbix_server log
