web.page items don't use Curl to do their job. The current implementation in libs/zbxsysinfo/common/http.c does not allow for redirects, SSL negotiation or everything else that is more than trivial. Furthermore, this is not obvious from the documentation, plus the fact that the agent is linked to libcurl.
