in general i use one way of monitoring, in my case passive. now i have a couple of hosts which i for networking reasons need to monitor actively. this results in having a lot of templates twice, just with zabbixagent vs. zabbixagent(active) difference, this of course is more complicated to maintain.

would be nice if a host or subtemplate could overrule the type of zabbixagent cheks "take this template, but make the passive checks active".
