30m old defaults in Administration->General->trigger displaying options -> On status change triggers blink for are used in new 'Problem view widget' on the Dashboards as well.
That basically means that systems with high volume of events coming would make Dashboards look like a total Xmass tree with everything blinking.

Suggested new defaults and options for Problem view widget :

• Use Problems not Recent problems by default. Otherwise, flapping events could eatup all space easily(see screenshot)
• Make timeline optional so it could be turned off and save space inside small widget (ZBXNEXT-4049)

and Global:

• reduce default blinking interval to 30 seconds
• change default Display OK triggers for 5minutes instead of 30m
