While situations when one item has multiple matching values in LLD queue is not common, it could easily happen:

• reconnecting proxy after prolonged offline work
• LLD setup misconfiguration

In such cases there is no point in processing exactly the same LLD value two or more times in a row and the duplicating values can be safely dropped.
